Chocolate peanut butter bars are a fun treat to make.
I made these bars the other day by using my Aunt's peanut butter ball recipe. After I cut the recipe in half, I changed a few things and they turned out great.
The only thing I didn't cut in half was the wax, so the chocolate coating was a little hard. When I went to cut them, the chocolate just broke. They still turned out delicious and everyone loved them.
I also melted some red wafers and drizzled it on top. Just to add a little decoration to it. It looked pretty good until I got cared away with trying new things. I tried to use a stencil to make some hearts on the cake with the melted red wafers and it didn't work. I also melted some pink wafers and tried using a stencil and again it didn't turn out like I would have hoped. The picture at the bottom of the page shows the end result, but I had fun trying!
Next time I will stick to using sprinkles with the stencils.
You will need a large mixing bowl, a large spoon for mixing, double boiler or a bowl and sauce pan, a 9x13 baking dish, and an air tight container.
Grease or spray with non-stick spray, the baking dish and set aside.
Make sure you have everything before you begin.

Store your creation in your fridge in an air tight container and they should last a could weeks.
