Kids love making peanut butter balls. I know my granddaughters loved making these. They had a lot of fun, as you can tell in the picture above. They had even more fun eating these peanut butter chocolate balls!
I helped them measure out the ingredients and then they started
mixing everything together. By the time we added all the ingredients
it's was getting pretty thick so they had to take turns mixing because
their arms were getting sore. I ended up having to do mix the last
little bit to make sure it was all blended together.
Then, I heated the chocolate up for them on the stove and they went
to work
coating all the balls. I didn't realize the chocolate was starting to
get cold so the balls had more chocolate coating on them than usual. I
should have had them melt the chocolate and wax mixture
in the microwave and they could have done it all themselves and
reheated the chocolate when it cooled down. As it turned out we ran out
of chocolate coating so we covered some in melted white chocolate wafers
and melted peanut butter wafers. They all tasted great but the peanut
butter chocolate balls were still the best.
Below are some of the different recipes that we have made. They are easy to make and always go over great at social get-togethers and holiday times.
I hope you have as much fun making these recipes as my granddaughters and I did.

When coating the balls, you can use a variety of different coatings. For my peanut butter truffles, I used pink and red wafers and they look and tasted great. You can also coat them in coconut, peanut pieces, chocolate chips or icing sugar. It's all depends on how fancy you want to make them. We would love to see what you come up with, add your picture and tell us how you decorated them above.
