They are the perfect afternoon treat.You can always add some Reese's pieces along with the chocolate chips to give them some color. Or add some of your favorite nut pieces or maybe some raisins.
There are ingredients you can add to these cookies but they are best with just the chocolate chips.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
You will need a large mixing bowl, a one cup plus a 3/4 cup plus a 1/2 cup, plus a 1/4 cup measuring cup, a 1/2 plus a 1/4 teaspoon, a
fork, cookie sheets, a wire rack for cooling and an electric mixer.
Make sure you have everything before you begin.
This recipe will make about 4 dozen cookies.They should be stored in an air tight container and will last a couple weeks.
You may have to double this recipe because they will be gone in no time. Your family will gobble them up as soon as they are done baking!
