Make these peanut butter waffles for breakfast for something a little different. Serve with a glass of OJ and you have a nutritious meal for the kids to start their day.
2 frozen whole wheat waffles
2 tbsp. smooth peanut butter
small banana, cut lengthwise in half, then quartered
2 tbsp granola
1 tsp strawberry jam
Toast the waffles and spread one waffle with peanut butter and jam.
sprinkle granola over peanut butter and jam and add bananas side-by-side
top with remaining waffle.
It will look like a waffle sandwich. You can garnish with maple syrup for a sweet treat.
